So first of all I cannot believe how fast summer is coming to an end! I feel like usual it has come and gone all too quickly! Last week Jones and I had the opportunity to do a little walk through of her preschool she will be attending in the fall. It was the cutest! Jones was loving it! It's hard to believe I'm going to send my "baby" to school, and yes I am fully aware that she is no longer a "baby", but they will always be our babies right?? So after we had done our walk through all of a sudden it dawned on me..... I have to go back to school shopping!!! I kinda started to get a little overwhelmed, what do I get, where do I go, I mean geez I know it's only preschool, but I want to feel ready and prepared!

So after my little panic attack about everything I need to get her, I decided lets make this easy, lets make what ever I do last a while so I don't have to go back, and it came to me that Sam's Club was the place. I can do one stop shopping for all our back to school needs. I say our because you know I'm going to be picking up stuff for the Hubby too, because they start school the same day! I decided to make a list of 2 different categories, food for breakfast and food for lunch that we would be needing, and with in those categories what was needed.

For my shopping list I wanted to get things that would be easy to prepare for both Justin and Jones'y breakfast and lunch. I'm going to be honest I'm not the mom who get up in the morning and makes an elaborate breakfast for my family, mostly probably because Jones just doesn't really eat a lot in the morning, so we are pretty standard cereal people at this house. Hence the massive box of Kellogg's Fruit Loops I bought for us all to enjoy! For lunches of course my mind goes to sandwiches and I know they both love them. So while I was at Sam's I picked up two large containers of Jif Peanut Butter to make our sandwiches with. I read on another blog to make your sandwiches Sunday night and throw them in the freezer. This makes for hectic mornings to go little more smoothly. I then put snacks into a little bin in our pantry that way you just grab and throw it in the lunch. Grab a fruit, and drink and their lunch is ready! I'm hoping with these little ways of being a little more organized, will help me with making lunches easier!

The best part of doing my shopping at Sam's club is not only does my family benefit from quality food and supplies, but also from the "Start School Like a Champion" program. With these amazing products that I bought at Sam's also comes with the selection of a free book for Jones. So if your stressed out and don't know where to go for back to school shopping try out Sam's and make sure and check the "Start School Like a Champion" program. It has so many wonderful benefits for you and your community! Hope you are all enjoying your last few weeks of summer and have an easy transition with the busy back to school!
