5 Fun Spring Nail Trends to Try
5 Fun Spring Nail Trends to Try
We absolutely love trying new, fun things with our nails because… well, why not?! Manicures typically only last us 2-3 weeks so we think that nail art is such a fun way to mix it up and try on new looks. Because spring has finally, finallyyyy arrived (sort of), we thought we’d round up five looks we can’t wait to try this season.
Spring Nail Trends: Pops of Pink
Bubblegum pink is totally on trend, according to NYFW Spring 2021 runway shows. We love the idea of trying bubblegum pink nails with abstract designs, darker tips, or using different polishes on different nails. Our tip is to keep your polish vibrant and a little 80’s, if you will. We’re not going for neon pink, but a little more flat and slightly lilac.
Spring Nail Trends: Confetti
After a year like 2020, we could all use a little celebration that we made it through! Try a clear coat or nude polish with a sprinkling of “confetti” or multicolored sparkles on the tip, or really wherever you’d like. You or your nail technician can use a tiny dot tool and any of your favorite confetti colors to make dots in whatever groupings you’d like. We love this trend when it’s abstract and imperfect.
Spring Nail Trends: Cloudy Skies
We love ourselves a gorgeous baby blue color but why not add a few airy details while you’re at it? Choose one or two fingers (we love a ring finger detail) and add a pretty white cloud design. This nail idea is gorgeous and so easy to rock if you’re a little hesitant to try nail art.
Spring Nail Trends: Zebra Print
OMG, this is such a throwback to slap bracelets and bell bottom pants and we are here for it! Leopard prints and nails have been around for a while and we don’t think they are ever going away, which is why a zebra print nail is so unique and cool. And black nails can be so unexpected in spring, just another reason this nail art trend is not for the faint of heart. We absolutely love it.
Spring Nail Trends: Holographic or Velvet Nails
A little something to catch your eye? We are loving the holographic and velvet textured nail polishes we’ve been seeing all over Instagram lately. Our tip is to keep the shade of your polish something neutral instead of something loud on it’s own. We love this effect for navy shades, ballet slipper pink, nudes and golds, and muted pastels.
