New York Fashion Week Recap: Where to Stay
A few weeks ago, Kenzi and I had the opportunity to attend New York Fashion Week, both a little nervous, and having no idea what to expect! We had done our homework, researched, and still felt like total novices heading into the BIG CITY! We arrived Thursday night late, headed straight to our hotel, where we were welcomed with a warm welcome from the Edge Hotel!
We absolutely loved staying at the Edge Hotel, when we got to the property they had chilled Diet Cokes waiting for us along with other goodies that we enjoyed through out the remainder of our stay. The room was fabulously clean with updated decor! With the exhaustion of running around NYC all day, it was so nice to come back every night to a cozy hotel room, with comfy beds, and the most plush robes and slippers to slip into! One of the reasons we were also so happy about our stay is how close it was to the subway. Kenzi and I used the Subway the majority of the time while there, and it was super convenient to have one so close to where we were staying. Again we loved staying at the Edge Hotel and would definitely stay again!
New York Fashion Week Recap: Fashion Shows
Our first morning we were invited to the cutest most detail oriented event, put on by one of our favorite companies “The Sis Kiss!’ You have definitely seen us wearing their jewelry on repeat and we for sure will be continuing to after all the amazing goodies we got at the brunch! The brunch was held in the most trendy little restaurant called “Bobo Restaurant” if you are headed to NYC for sure head there for brunch, lunch, or dinner, everything they fed us was unreal good and perfectly presented! The event was held on the top deck in the little roof garden and me and Kenzi couldn’t get enough of it! We went to various other events while there and got to meet some really amazing girls from all around the country, who you feel like you know, because of course we follow them on Instagram, but it was truly refreshing to meet these girls face to face and have real conversations!

Along with Bobo, we dined at some other fabulous restaurants and if you are headed to NYC the following are restaurants that you do not want to miss!
Patsy’s Pizza- Good authentic pizza
ABC Kitchen - Best french toast I have ever had, and unbelievable burger!
Magnolia’s Bakery - Banana pudding is a must and nothing will disappoint!
Sarabeth’s - Great for anything!
Mexicue - Bomb guacamole!
Bobby’s High Line - The most fluffy pancakes, you will die they are so good! Also avocado toast!
The Smith Restaurant - Went with the burger and it was unreal!
New York Fashion Week Recap: Conclusion
Me and Kenzi loved our time in NYC we met so many wonderful girls, stuffed our faces with unbelievable food, got to meet with some of our favorite brands including Kendra Scott and Marc Fisher, viewed the Rebecca Minkoff fashion show, and got to attend some really amazing events! We definitely were novice’s this year, and would both love to go to NYFW again knowing now what we know! Till next time NYC!
