Back to School Shopping with Famous Footwear

One of my favorite traditions as a child was to go back to school shopping with my mom, it was my own personal time to spend with my mom all by myself, doing one of my favorite things! I couldn’t wait to be able to pass this tradition down to my own children. This past year was my first year taking my oldest son back to school shopping, it was a day I will cherish forever! It’s all about the shoes for him this year…what a boy!

This year it was all about the shoes for my son, such a boy right! We headed to Famous Footwear and tried on literally every pair of shoes they had in his size, he was having the time of his life. We measured his foot first, then the associates were so helpful, they continued to bring Parks every pair of shoes he wanted to try on. Then in all Parks fashion he would strike a pose or 3 or 4 in order to make sure the shoe was perfect!

He ended up picking the Checkered slip on Vans, a perfect choice! Easy to put on, match everything and looking fresh on top of it!

I loved being able to watch him in this new element for him, it’s so important me that he knows how much I love him and want him to feel his best for his first day of school. Everyone knows that feeling of walking into school the first day. Your nervous and excited all at the same time. If you are feeling good on the outside, hopefully those jitters in the inside won’t seem so big! 

My baby is growing up, way too fast! I can’t believe he will be in first grade this year! I hope that he will be #feelingfamous as he enters his first day of first grade!
