How to stay Fit with FitBit Versa
This Fitbit Versa post is sponsored by Kohl’s. I was paid for this post and received the included Fitbit as compensation.
As a mom of 3 crazy boys, sometimes I think, why do I even work out? My kids give me a work out all by themselves! I actually didn’t start hard core working out till after Lux was born. I bit the bullet bought a legit gym/studio membership and made a promise to myself that I was going to be consistent. I had previously tried regular gym passes but found myself NEVER going. Who was going to be upset? Oh well I was losing $10 bucks a month… With my new gym I have to sign up for classes previously in order to go, and if I don’t go I am charged! I know a little crazy…but it makes me go!
My favorite reason for working out, ME TIME! It’s a solid hour of just me, doing something that I “now” love. I think me time is SO important for everyone, but especially moms! Me time is rare as a busy mom, it’s amazing how one hour out of your day a couple times a week makes me feel better, and when I feel better I am a better mom.
While working out, I need to see results like immediately. That’s why I am totally stoked on the new Fitbit Versa. I wear it every time I work out, hence the immediate results, I can see right then how many calories I burned through out my work out…It’s my favorite and it challenges me to want to hit my goal every time.
FitBit Versa Review: Favorite Features
Another favorite feature, it is connect to my iPhone. In order to have me time I have to leave my kids, with the ability to receive notifications from my watch I don’t even have to bring my phone in…which lets be honest creates many less distractions!
Not to mention…4 day battery life! Coming from someone who forgets to charge…everything. This is a huge win for me. One less thing a busy momma has to worry about.
It is so important for me to be able to track and log my period! Use Versa and the Fitbit app to log your period, record symptoms and compare your cycle against other health stats like sleep, activity and weight.
Last but not least…MUSIC. Music is probably one of my favorite things…ever. The fact that I can listen to all of my favorite tunes on bluetooth is amazing. Doesn’t even have to be while working out.
